302 Succession Plan

I.  PURPOSE

The Stonebridge School Board recognizes the need for a succession plan in
the event that the Executive Director is unable to perform his/her job duties due to an emergency or resignation.

II. GENERAL STATEMENT OF POLICY
To protect the Board of Directors in the event of the loss of the Executive Director.

III. PROCEDURE

A.  In order to protect the board from sudden loss of the Executive Director, the Executive Director names the School Director to take over the Executive Duties.

B. If the Executive Director is resigning with timely notice, the board would review the current needs of the school and budget to develop a staffing plan with recruitment process and timeline.
