Stonebridge has developed a plan to safely bring 6-8th grade middle school students back to school using a hybrid model (Group A & Group B) starting Monday March 1st . Middle School planning days will be held on Feb 25 & 26 (NO SCHOOL MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY)
Our plans includes the following:
Group A students will attend school on Monday/Thursday with distance learning the rest of the days and the opportunity to schedule time to meet with teachers on Wednesday afternoons.
Group B students will attend school on Tuesday/Friday with distance learning the rest of the days and the opportunity to schedule time to meet with teachers on Wednesday afternoons.
Once hybrid groups have been determined, the office will notify parents.
Stonebridge will continue to provide full-time distance learning as an option for 6th-8th grade.
Students who continue in distance learning will need to come to school, during scheduled times to take the State and District Assessments.
All students must continue to wear face coverings, have six feet social distancing when possible and continue good hand washing. Strong safety and cleaning protocols will continue to be in place and implemented. Increased measures for staff include wearing masks plus face shields, and all staff will be provided an option to have a COVID-19 test every two weeks.
Because of the uncertainty with Covid-19, families should continue to be prepared for classrooms or even building-wide movement to Distance Learning if the situation calls for it due to positive cases in the school or classrooms. We appreciate your continued flexibility, patience and resilience during these challenging times.
Stay safe and well,
